"Let it be done!"

Wow hjólreiðakeppnin hefur gefið mörgum hvatningu og innblástur og ég er einn af þeim. 

Í aðdraganda ráðstefnu Sameinuðu þjóðanna um loftslagsmál í desember 2015 varð til lag tileinkað keppninni og viðfangsefnum ráðstefnunnar.  

Lagið verður eitt af 28 nýjum lögum, aem koma nú í júlí út í fyrsta sinn á plötu, ásamt 44 eldri lögum, öll um náttúru Íslands, land og þjóð. 

Þessi útgáfa er gerð til að vekja athygli á hugmyndinni um stóra þjóðgarð á miðhálendi Íslands og jafnframt á möguleikum til að minnka kolefnisspor í samgöngum og liðka fyrir orkuskiptum.

to undertake enourmos task, defying weariness and pain!

 

Let it be done! Fighting spirit and fun!

Inevitable energy exchange! 

 

Across the ocean, over valleys, thundering through the sky

to promised land of love and peace our minds are flying high! 

Sustainable developement shall prosper everywhere 

from the seabeds over continent

up through the atmosphere! 

 

We are the rangers, pledged to save the nature of the earht!

We are the generations that shall give its life new birth! 

Let´s rinse the water, clean the air to give us healthy breath, 

figthing for environment against it´s bitter death!
